One paragraph. Screen Sisters CIC (company number 16185639) is a women-led community interest company based at 3 Mills Studios in East London. It trains women — including women of faith, Jewish, Christian and Muslim, and those who share its values — to the standard high-end television and feature film work to, on days taught inside the industry's own buildings by people working in it now. Training is fully funded, a commitment filed with the company's constitution, and as a community interest company it carries an asset lock, so surplus cannot be extracted. It collaborates with Futures in Film CIC, a separate company.

Short description. Screen Sisters CIC: faith-literate screen training for women, inside a working studio in East London.

• It is a community interest company, regulated by the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies, with an asset lock and public filings.
• It is not a registered charity, a film school, a talent agency, a membership body, or a department of any other company.
• Programmes are for women. The building is not. Screenings and community events are open to men, families and congregations.
• Faith-rooted does not mean faith-restricted. Nobody is asked what she believes in order to take part, and no participant pays to train.

• Photography. Stills of training and studio days go to press on request, at print resolution with the credit line attached. Every frame is cleared individually: no face, name or voice is supplied without the written consent of the woman in it, which is why some of what we do has no picture at all.
• Interviews. Email info@screensisters.org.uk with your outlet, subject and deadline, and flag the deadline in the subject line. Our one timing promise applies.
• We will comment on faith-literate practice on a working set, routes into technical grades, what training inside a studio costs and requires, and why the crews filling East London's new stages are drawn from elsewhere.
• We will not comment on an individual participant or her circumstances, another organisation's productions, contracts or staff, a live safeguarding matter, or anything under a non-disclosure agreement. We will not confirm that an organisation works with us before it has agreed in writing to be named.
