A board of two is thin and we say so. We are recruiting an independent non-executive director and building an advisory council.

We file annual accounts and a community interest report at Companies House, where anyone can read them. Surplus cannot be distributed. The asset lock is the point of the structure.

Policies are board-approved and reviewed annually: safeguarding, welfare, consent and media permissions, faith-literate practice, data protection, safer recruitment, complaints and health and safety. Ask for any by name at team@screensisters.org.uk.

Everyone working with participants is recruited to a written role description, checked at the level the law allows, inducted and supervised. The data-protection work is completed before applications open.
