Opening
Join Screen Sisters
Membership is free. You do not have to be ready to apply for anything. You can just be in.
A door for everyone not applying today
Most people find us before they are ready. Membership is how you stay close without committing to a cohort.
It is open to women of faith — Jewish, Christian and Muslim — and those who share our values, to women of no faith on the same terms, and to men who want to support the work, in a supporting role. Nobody is asked what they believe in order to join.
Nobody has been added to anything
There is no list you are already on. We have not copied names across from a WhatsApp group, an event sign-up, a course register or another organisation's records, and we will not.
The only way to become a member is to fill this form in yourself. The membership starts from nothing for that reason.
What membership gives you
First sight of everything
Cohorts, the Lab, technical days and screenings go to members first.
Finding people
If you work in the industry, ask to be listed so productions can find you.
The room
Screenings and events at the studio base, and the conversation afterwards.
A way to help
Host a screening, refer someone, mentor, or lend a skill we lack.
How it works
A name and an email address. That is the whole requirement.
What you do, if you want to be found for work. Optional.
What you need on a working day. Optional, and used only to arrange it.
We write when there is something real. You can leave at any point.
Who pays for it
Free to you is a decision about who we ask.
Opening: membership funded by the employers who hire crew and the manufacturers whose equipment new entrants train on. Both already spend money finding people, and neither has been asked to fund the route that reaches this group. It stays free to you whatever happens.

Two faith fields, two reasons
The needs field exists so a day works for you, and we act on it. Prayer time goes on the call sheet, catering is ordered, the room is arranged.
The monitoring field exists so we can see who we are reaching, and we are not permitted to act on it. Schedule 1 paragraph 8 of the Data Protection Act 2018 allows equality monitoring only where it cannot influence any decision about the person who answered. The two are stored apart for that reason, and leaving both blank changes nothing.
Come in first, decide later
Everything past a name and an email address is yours to offer when you want to.
