Open to commissions
Commission us
A production company that reaches communities other production companies cannot. Tell us the outcome you need and we will tell you what it would take.
We are commissioned to deliver, not to advise.
Bring the brief. We hand back the finished thing.
- Films made with communities rather than about them. Done: a film made with a congregation, on location, with a university partner.
- Community filmmaking. The people a project is for make the film themselves, on real kit, with a working unit around them. Done.
- Training for your organisation, on your site or at our studio base. Opening.
- Screenings and facilitated dialogue, including Uniting Communities. Opening.
- Practice support on your production, from the toolkit. Opening.
If your outcome depends on trust, you are in the right place.
You want the film made with the people in it. You want a unit a place of worship will let through the door.
Reach built over years, not for a bid. We work from inside the communities the industry says it cannot get to, and the door that opens for us opens for you.
Practitioners who work at the high end now. Camera, grip, stabilisation, lighting, sound and DIT (digital imaging technician), from people who were on a drama unit last week. Your film is shot to that grade.
Faith-literate practice, written down. Prayer, fasting, food, dress and the schedule are planned in prep, not improvised on the floor.

What a commission pays for
Screen Sisters CIC has an asset lock: a surplus cannot leave into anyone's pocket. A commission carries assistant places on the unit for women in training, and any surplus funds fully funded places. Writing a bid? Name us as delivery partner before you have won it. Where the money goes.
