• Not a registered charity. No Gift Aid. Funding restricted to registered charities is not open to us.
• Not VAT registered. Quoted prices are what you pay.
• Asset-locked. On winding up, assets pass to another asset-locked body. A surplus cannot be distributed into anyone's pocket.
• Annual filings, including the CIC report, are public at Companies House.

It is the reason a public body can buy from us without the question of where the margin goes, and the reason a funder can back trading activity rather than only projects. It is filed and enforceable, not a statement of intent.

It also means the honest answer to "why not just become a charity": the trading model needs to earn, and a CIC is built to trade. We would rather sell the work and fund the places out of it than depend on a grant cycle we do not control.

Including the parts that do not flatter us.

• What has been delivered, in the past tense, and what is still opening. Nothing on this site claims a programme has run when it has not.
• Who was actually there, not how many people we reached.
• What did not work, including the people who dropped out and why.
• Where a figure comes from, in the same sentence as the figure.

Directors, the board, the asset lock and the policy register are set out at governance. Our delivery record and how we count it are at our work.

Safeguarding has a named lead and a published escalation route. Data protection, including how faith and access information is separated from assessment, is at privacy and your data.

If your due diligence needs a document we have not published, ask. If it exists we will send it, and if it does not we will tell you that instead of stalling.

• Skills and progression — routes into paid screen-sector work for people who do not have them.
• Reaching communities that programmes routinely miss — faith communities, and women who will not attend something that cannot accommodate their practice.
• Good jobs — practitioners paid, participants supported to attend, and the cost barrier removed rather than means-tested.
• Social value in procurement — tell us which framework you are scoring against and we will write to it rather than sending a generic case.
